CMYK versus RGB

What is the difference between CMYK and RGB?

To give a simple explanation, CMYK is the color mode intended for ink printing, such as business card designs. RGB is the color mode intended for screen displays.

The more color added in CMYK mode, the darker the result will become. The more color added to RGB, the lighter the elements on your products will be.

CMYK has a numerical range of 4x100; RGB has a numerical range of 3x256. Therefore, the energetic colors that RGB can produce are difficult to reproduce in CMYK.

When designing, the biggest mistake you can make is forgetting to convert to the correct color mode for your project. If you forget to do this, colors may look faded or too vibrant.

When dealing with transporting and storing uncompressed raw videos, it can involve a huge amount of data to be sent over any available connection.

Given the constant battle for bandwidth efficiency, compression by a large number reduces the bandwidth required, allowing real-time video streams or files to be easily transmitted over limited networks. Video compression algorithms such as H.264/AVC or H.265/HEVC reduce raw content data by up to 1000 times.

Besides Dutch, all our online Marketeers speak English fluently and even German, French or Spanish.

For example, a Globaworker in Kenya who works part-time, can already live off that income for two months, while we pay three times the average income in Mexico.
